Common questions
What exactly is a credit?
About one minute of live translation in one language. Two languages for an hour come to roughly 120 credits, the same hour in one language to roughly 60. Treat it as a good estimate rather than a fixed rate: how much is actually spoken, and how many people are listening, move it slightly either way.
Do credits expire?
No. They stay on the account until you spend them, so an organization that broadcasts a few times a year is not paying for the months in between.
Am I charged for a language nobody listens to?
No. A translation opens when its first listener arrives and closes shortly after the last one leaves, so a language nobody selected costs nothing.
Does the number of listeners change the price?
Some, and it is worth knowing the shape of it. A language is translated once and everybody who wants it joins that same stream, so you never pay per person for the translation itself — that part does not move with the audience at all. Each connected listener adds a small amount on top of it. With a handful of people it is barely visible; by the time a language has a few dozen listeners it is a real share of the bill, and from there it grows with the room.
Do songs and music cost the same as speech?
No. Music is recognized and not translated, so those minutes do not carry the cost of a translated one. Most of what you spend follows how much is actually said, which is why a two-hour service with half an hour of singing costs less than two solid hours of speaking.
Which currency will I be billed in?
It follows the country on your billing details: lei for Romanian customers and euro for everyone else. Both prices are shown here because this page cannot know yours — the best rate is RON 0.55 or €0.10 a minute.
Is there a free trial?
Every new organization is given 30 credits on signup. No card is needed to spend them.
Can an interpreter reduce the bill?
Yes, a lot, while people stay with them. An interpreted language carries two channels — the person and the AI — and listeners hear the person by default. For as long as they are there no AI translation runs, so you pay the connection rather than the translation, a fraction of what a translated language costs. A listener who switches to the AI opens a session and the language bills normally while somebody is on it.
