These Terms govern your use of the live audio translation service (the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a broadcast, or listening to one, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service translates a speaker's live audio into one or more target languages in real time and streams the translated audio to listeners. A broadcaster starts a session and shares a short session code; anyone with that code can listen anonymously in their browser, with no account and no install. Translation is produced once per language and shared by every listener.

2. Accounts

Broadcasting requires an account and an organization. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Listeners need no account.

3. Credits and billing

Broadcasting is metered in credits. One credit is approximately one minute of live translation in one language; the exact amount follows how much is spoken and how many listeners are connected. A language is metered only while somebody is listening to it, with one exception: a session you have asked to record keeps translating, and is metered, with no audience. New organizations receive a one-time grant of free credits on signup, and credits do not expire. Credits are prepaid, have no cash value, and are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • broadcast content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you have no right to transmit;
  • attempt to access another organization's sessions, data, or session codes;
  • probe, overload, or interfere with the Service, or circumvent its limits and quotas;
  • resell or sublicense access without written permission; or
  • use the Service to violate the rights or privacy of any person.

You are solely responsible for the content you broadcast and for having any consent required to translate and transmit it.

5. Third-party processing

To translate audio, the Service transmits it to third-party AI and real-time media providers for processing. By broadcasting, you authorize this processing. Do not broadcast information you are not permitted to share with those providers.

6. Availability

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may update, suspend, or discontinue it, and maintenance or deployments may interrupt live broadcasts without notice. Session length and the number of concurrent languages and sessions may be capped. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or the accuracy of any translation β€” machine translation can be wrong, and you should not rely on it where errors carry material risk.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software and design, is protected by intellectual property rights and remains ours. You retain rights to the content you broadcast; you grant us the limited rights needed to process and deliver it for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these Terms or that we reasonably believe harms the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when the updated version is posted with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Service after that constitutes acceptance.
